Lustre Housekeeping G.K. | COVID-19 response
ラスターハウスキーピング合同会社による新型コロナウイルス対応
[Current as of: Week 1 2023]
On behalf of everyone at Lustre Housekeeping we value the trust you have put in our services. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. During this extremely difficult situation, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our customers and staff.
Our personnel that have received the Japanese MHLW “vaccination voucher” have been fully vaccinated or are “up to date” (fully vaccinated means a person has received all recommended doses in their primary series of COVID-19 vaccine, up to date refers to eligible booster shots). As personnel become eligible, we are strongly encouraging all of our team members and their families to stay up to date with vaccinations and are providing support to do so.
Despite any changes to the state of emergency within Japan and the prefecture, some protocols will remain in effect for the foreseeable future. We will continue to hold the majority of internal meetings remotely and maintain our due diligence by regularly following guidelines from health organizations. Any personnel who test positive for COVID19 is required without exception to follow the “Stay Home” and quarantine directives of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
We wish all of our customers the best of health but if you happen to be under quarantine, we will abide by it. We will not under any circumstances send staff to a home under quarantine or where an individual of the household is currently experiencing symptoms of COVID19. Please inform us if there are any health or safety concerns that would necessitate you postponing or rescheduling a cleaning. Our primary concern is maintaining the health of all of our customers and staff.
We understand your concerns regarding the current global situation and wanted to highlight some of the measures that we have put in place. We are following additional precautions as outlined by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
All staff must report in their body temperature, their general health and that of their household to management daily.
All housekeepers are required to wear face masks during the course of their work.
All housekeepers will continue to remove their shoes at the entrance and wear only indoor shoes.
We will continue to use bleach and appropriate disinfectants.
We will not under any circumstances render service to customers under quarantine.
We maintain the Okinawa Prefectural Government (OPG) Covid-19 Compliance Certification.
We will continue to do our best to provide our customers with the thorough cleaning services that will be so necessary in the current times. Once again thank you for being a loyal customer of Lustre Housekeeping G.K. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Occupational Health and Safety team at ohs@lustrehousekeeping.com
